Island Lake Resevior

Anyone ever fish this lake. Believe it is north of Duluth?

Hey Bret,

If you haven't already try putting this post up in the BWCA/Duluth/Arrowhead forum. I was up that way last year, didn't get on Island, but I was on that forum every once in a while. I remember someone asked about musky fishing the lake and was given tips on where to fish. One week later the guy puts up a picture of a healthy mid-40's fish he got on like his fifth cast on a spot recommended by an FMer. Unreal. I tried looking for that thread to link to it but can't find it.

From reading up on the lake its really hit or miss. Some guys do well and others don't so much as see a fish. Good weeds and structure though.
