I was so bumbed yesterday when I got home and was backing in a Triton Prestige enclosued trailer in my back yard, and I wasn't watching and dented and scratched one of the panels on a tree branch. I said "oh shucks" (or something like that) when I saw the damage. This trailer has sections of aluminum "skin" in the form of panels, and it looks like there are screws holding each section on.
Does anyone know, can a panel easily be replaced? I'm guessing it's not cheap for the aluminum if it's even available from a dealer. I'm not interested in a "home grown" solution, just a factory replacement part.
I thought I'd start on this site, and if no good ideas or knowledge, I'll then call the Triton dealer.
I went ahead and watched some of the MLF coverage. Wheeler didn’t make the cut but the bigger story was the Poche/Avera fallout.
Kinda funny listening to both sides of the story and putting together the scenario, reading between the lines.
got this tackled today took about 3 hours to get both sides done. Didnt even get to use a torch....
Thought I was golden with just jacking it up and I could get to everything but no luck. Had to remove the entire axle hub and brake assembly to get to what I needed. Was a pain but still better then taking off the entire pivot arm.
Axle bearings were already greased and in great shape thankfully. Got both leaf springs installed and its ready for the road again.
Probably going to have my electric brakes checked, I am not touching anything with the brake drums. Based on what I saw it doesn't look like my electric brakes have been working anyway. Brakes are nice to have if its slippery out
