polarsusd81
I am wondering if anyone fishes there, Lake Nokomis, Bridge Lake, Deer Lake area. I have a new friend whose parents are building a nice retirement home over there on one of the lakes and will probably be doing some fishing in the area this summer. From the info I have found, there looks to be a pretty good population of Largemouth, Smallmouth, Crappies, Gills, Pike, Eyes, and Skies. Anyone know where to get maps? I can't seem to locate any kind of maps on the Wisconsin DNR site, not sure if they have them like the Minnesota DNR does. Any info would help. Thanks,Tom
newoodhntr
WDNR has a lake map but it isn't very good. Stop at one of the bait shops in the city of Tomahawk and they should help you out.
polarsusd81
I did locate some maps on the WI DNR site. Took me a while, but figured it out, now I just have to hope the water in the area is high enough to fish this summer. I heard the lake/flowage is down really low right now and there is not a lot of water to fish. We need a wet spring here in MN as bad as it is needed in Wisconsin.Do you know of any bait shops in the area that have a good reputation / customer base? Thanks
newoodhntr
There are two shops right in Tomahawk located north of the Wi. river bridge. One has a web site with a fishing up date and forum. I don't think I can put the web page on this site if you E-mail me I can sent it to you. [email protected]
