Buy your lifetime license now

incase you missed it, the DNR funding was cut by 3.8 mil (proposed). They are already talking about increasing park fees, hunting/fishing fees will be next. I am buying mine in Feb to avoid the rush. Right now with current fees, it'll pay off in about 20 years, but you know they will increase prices. Just a heads up.

Wow! What a dilemma! I turn 51 on April 23rd, my current license expires on Feb 28th. Do I buy a yearly license for 54 days of fishing, then buy the lifetime on the 23rd of April to beat the increase. Or do I go fishless for 54 days, then buy the lifetime and save 180.00 bucks.

Could a person buy one for an unborn kid? I know your taking a big risk here; having a kid, kid wanting to fish, kid being able to fish,..etc, etc.

But heck if I can by one of my kids this before the prices go up, for $227 and before the expenses of having a kid hit a guy upside the head then why not do it!

yes they have sportsman combos, small game only, lifetime deer... check out the dnr HSOforum. All the info is there.

Best thing is, if you get one and move out of the state, you can still use it.

Too bad you cannot get a joint - married couple life time license. That is one thing that I would like to get.

My son turns 4 this summer so he will be getting one for his birthday this year - purchased prior to his b-day of course.
