Barony
After wrestling for a few weeks w/ the insurance company, we finally got around to shingling the house after some storm damage earlier this Spring. We put the last nail in this afternoon (6/6). I came in and watched the weather on TV and saw that it's going to get a little windier tomorrow than today and became concerned about adhesion and losing shingles (again). How long does it take shingles to adhere to each other? Obviously there was minimal sun and cool temps today, so does the process still happen? fishing tech
Were you hot on the roof? A couple of hours of sun at the most. Did you go with the thicker 30- 40 year shingles? After doing my roof 2 times in 5 years I put on the Timberline (?) shingles and going on 10 years and no problems. I hope I didn't just jix myself. Good Luck!!! Barony
It did get a little warm yesterday afternoon, but we nailed until midnight (under the lights) and got after it early this morning. We did get a 30 year shingle that is pretty thick. I guess I'm more concerned about the shingles we put on last night and this morning.
