Walleye Reports - 2007

I made it out last Saturday afternoon with my dad and another good friend and we did very well. It was tough cold front conditions and the fish didn't turn on until about 1 in the afternoon when the wind really kicked up and put some whitecaps on the water and made for some perfect backtrolling conditions. We did close to 30 eyes in about 4 hours with pretty much nonstop action once they turned on after being slow for the first couple hours. We had our limit of 15 in no time and just kept catching and releasing some more after that.

Nice fish john I havent caught a walleye in a month. Ive been doing alot of panfishing the walleye action up here has slowed down might have to do a road trip soon nice catch john .
