wdgold
Does anyone have any info on this lake I will be going up there the 20th of August and have never fished it before. What areas of the lake should I concentrate on and what should I fish for? Thanks

Sherpa
Fished Red Cedar for the first time today. Lost a walleye that was almost to the hole shortly after I got there. Dropped my jig right back down and hooked up again right away. Same thing, lost the fish just below the ice. Pretty frustrating at the time but good to know I was on some fish. I did end up landing one before I had to leave. Anyways the fish is still swimming to be caught again another day. I will have to come back the next time I'm in the area. Getting ready to head out right now, pretty nice morning for this time of year. Good luck out there everyone!!!
vman59
Came by Red Cedar on the way home from the camper on the flowage. Never saw a boat but there were 4 trucks by the dam in Mikana.
boogill
Hey all I was out on Red Cedar Saturday, and nothing was happening. I fished shallow, deep, live bait and artificials with no sucess. Did anyone else have a better day on the water than me? Anyone have any input we are heading back again this weekend, and would really like to find some small mouths. If anyone found a pattern tahat worked I would appreciate some assistance. thanks
vman59
If I were to go after them I would look for somewhat deep rocky area's.

badgerdude
How has the fishing been lately? Looks like this thread has gotten cold. I am looking at getting a cabin in the area and would like to know how the fishing has been, particularly for walleyes. Thanks for any info!
