my cousin just showed me this trick, if your hands still smell like fish after you've just cleaned fish or just got done fishing, wash your hands with a chunck of plain unpainted aluminum... i know it sound weird, but it works really really well!!!

Cabela's actually sells a soap bar made of some type of metal for this. I have it and it works.

An great thing to use thats always around the house, is toothpaste.

toothpaste followed by soap is by far the best method I have personally used.

At work I always just rub my hands on the SS tables after I wash them. Does the trick for onions also.

Sugar water and stainless steel.

The Wonder Bar mentioned above is stainless steel also. It works, and is much more portable than a stainless steel table
