JustinHoppe
I have a fl-8se and i just bought my 3 year old son a lowrance x-67 ice machine. When I have mine on he gets so much interference he cant use it. Is there anything that can be done about it?
Nelson380
You should be able to block out the interference by adjusting the settings. Ping Speed: 100% Sonar Features: a) Surface Clarity: High Noise Rejection: High
Ralph Wiggum
Check out this post for some ideas.I have some interference problems on occasion, but I can usually get rid of it. Try playing with the IR on the vex, too.
minnow_03
I have a x67c and the trick is you can only adjust interference rejection in the scrolling mode, and then swich back to the flasher mode if this is what you want. With an fl-8 you probabally don't even have to go to high, and I usually don't use the surface rejection setting much. I was in a house with two fl-18 and could get rid of their interference as good as they could. I had IR on high and had to lower the ping speed to 75%. You can also switch the depth as this changes the ping speed. I hope this helps.
