Mexican Vacation Pic

Old-school Spring Break photo of the wifes Grand Dad in Mexico circ 1930s. In reality, he was probably making a trip to the grocery store to bring back some meat to the farm in West Texas. Nice catfish though!

Swimmer, just resize it to 450 pixels across at 72 dpi in photoshop and then mount it on photobucket and copy it from there to here like you normally would. At that size, photobucket won't do any automatic resizing.

OK, so I've posted from my Photobucket before. Open the thumbnail image, right click to Properties, copy the address, hit Image on the Post window, paste address, then image magically appears... tongue.gif Sorry about the newbieitus...it's Friday afterall. smile.gif

Swimmer, I went in and edited your post so it's the right way, so go in under edit mode and take a look at it.

The difference was that there were a bunch of characters after the .jpg in your image post, which should not be there.

in the photobucket program, there is a url that has the image codes in it and it is simply a copy paste job no problems. in this picture you will want to copy and paste the bottom url.

I hope this helps.

Yep, brassman's right, that works too. If you do it that way, you don't click on the "image" category below your post here, you just paste the whole thing into the body of your post and you're good to go.

Thanks guys. Don't know why it worked before though. In the future I will delete the stuff after .jpg, or use the URL without the "IMAGE". Wish you guys in the Arrowhead were getting a little more moisture this weekend. tongue.gif

It's snowing like crazy right now. I shot basketball in Babbitt at 7:30 and then had to zip home to Ely to catch the last part of a basketball game to shoot there, too. Snow was so thick on Hwy. 21 I couldn't see a thing and was going about 25 mph.

Little bit of freezing rain last night but that is about it so far! If it were not so dang windy out there I would be out ice fishing right now! Weather channel says 21 gusting to 30 right now. Bit to much for me... would be OK if I had a perm fish house though! Oh well, maybe later on today the wind will die down. Have a good one and N Joy the Hunt././Jimbo

    • A 12v camera with light available from Tomtop out of China $70 with 65 ft cable on reel. Its color HD resolution 1000tvl better than 720p used by Marcum & Aquavu HD units. (Except latest Marcum 1020p latest camera $650). Only drawback, it takes 20 to 30 days and $6 shiping. Link to Tomtop camera. They off a lot of camera options so you may want to da a bit of searching. https://m.tomtop.com/p-y3578-15.html?currency=USD&Warehouse=CN&aid=gplausyly&mid=10000018477&utm_source=SEM&utm_medium=Google Adwords&utm_campaign=TT_PLA_YLY&utm_content=2945&gclid=Cj0KCQiAxs3gBRDGARIsAO4tqq3wBcNnVRFIUf2QknDLs18FF6NrhJ9raJW9BAdaowvDD1gw08q_abwaAilBEALw_wcB Pic simple wire diagram. • Looking to get a camera for nothing but connecting to the ice house TV.  Want good resolution and color for kids. What's the best economical solution? Thanks, EJ
    • Dang, this thread has been an eye opener.  And here I only ignored my wife for 10 years, it's funny some of you are still married!   🤣
    • need to win on home ice, no matter how good they are. seems as though we lost our home ice advantage, looks like we may be getting the home cooking working again.
    • congrats on the 10 years. I got curious how long I have been here, I hit 16 years last month, I can't believe its been that long. 🤓
    • Looking fabulistic grainbelt!! How long did you let em swim in the marinade anyhow??
    • Great advice and sounds like you have had some great times on the great Upper Red Lake!  The difference on Red from having a good day to a great day can be as much as moving 20 feet away!  From what you explain I would try to befriend a local or rent an ice auger and bring with the cold gear.  Rent your house like you are and then throw the auger in the car and explore or just pop holes in the area of your house so you can get out enjoy the uniqueness of fishing outside and your chances for landing more fish increases greatly opposed to hard house fishing.  Good Luck!!
    • I have been here a good 17 years and I think there is only about 1 guy left here that I have met in person. Back in the day I knew and met several members who were frequent posters on FM. I met quite a few of them through the BP Catfish League but I think most of those guys are long gone.
