About 85 miles West to Southwest of Minneapolis/St.Paul. Small farming community in SW MN. I would guess a little less than 1000 people. Do a search on the net and you will find more info. I live and work about 35 miles North of Morgan.

It's right between BFE and the middle of nowhere.

Seriously, it's in South/south west MN. Middle of farm country slightly north and west of Sleepy eye.

Not to be nosey, but what type of job offer do you have from the middle of the prairie????

If you draw a straight line from Minneapolis MN to Souix Falls SD, Morgon would be pretty close to the halfway point on that line.

Good fishing nearby would be:

about 100 miles NW to Big Stone.

about 50 miles almost straight north to the Willmar/Spicer area.

only about 10 miles straight north to the Minnesota River.

Well, Im not interested if there's no ICE! I have to be at least north of I-94 and by a hundred miles preferably! Thanks for all the info anyway!

Morgan is quite a ways SOUTH of I-94.

There is ice there but it's definately not up nort kind of fishing.

Its a small town between Redwood Falls and Sleepy Eye, Go through it all the time on our way to Jackpot Juction Casino. Not much out here for lakes for sure. There is the

MN river a few miles north.
