MNMAV93
I just got back in from lost lake tonight and ended up catching 4 crappies my self and my brother caught 3 crappies. we were catching them on waxies and just a plain colored jig. there was a guy that caught 50 in about 6 hours there and we went over to his holes after he left and they were just all over the vexilar. i ended up catching one there at his holes and then we left. i am just curious if anyone has fished it before and what jigs seem to work best. any info will be helpful as i am going to go out all day saturday. rod bender
Nip, Gold is good, but I've had my best luck with an orange/black marmuska. Might want to downsize if they're fussy. Try the very smallest marmuska. I'll try to rememember to bring one for you tomorrow morning.
HighLifer
Rod Bender, that sweatshirt in your picture looks awfully familiar. Do you coach at Ballard High? I graduated from there in '96. We may have to do some ice fishing the next time I am back in town.

hotrod
try multiple waxies on your hook, vary your speed of jigging, or just let it sit still for a period of time. there must have been some trick, or technique that he was using to catch those fish. change, change until the fish tell you they like it.
