overcharged flasher battery

Rap/ Thats a good question. When i bought my Fl-18 i noticed that the power cord had no in-line fuse. When looking at the manual it says the operating voltage is 10.2 to 15 volts. When overcharging a battery your drying out or frying the cells from the heat the charger is producing. You may increase the voltage by a small percent but not enough to harm the unit. I put in-line fuses on both the hot + and negitive - sides on all my electronics and trolling motors. This protects the unit from a high amp draw and from accidental reverse polarity.
