openwater
It's about 10-12 hours for me. I ususally do a Saturday trip somewhere, usually about an hour away. But then that doesn't allow me to go out on Sunday, the wife and all.

eyepatrol
Typically 5 - 6 hours including drive time. We have two kids 3 and 1 which my wife asks me to come home early to help out with. Otherwise I'd be out there for the whole day, sun up to sun down fishing for various species.
Fever
Like I said earlier... I'm in the same boat but add one more little monster. It makes you appreciate the time out on the water even if it comes at 2-4 hours a crack. No messing around: gotta get right to the buisness thats for sure.
