Auger problems

My strikemaster auger is having a problem. When i try to start it the auger spins while i pull the cord and when i release the pull cord it kills. i think it might be the timing or something. anyone ever have this problem or know how to fix it? thanks

Call Strikemaster. They have the BEST customer service out of ANY company or business I've EVER had to deal with. PERIOD! They will not do you wrong!

It should be in the round section between the gear box and the motor. I've never had a Strikemaster apart, so I'm not sure what order things need to come off in.
