Yep smile.gif Time E. It has been a good time for me.

Pressure is on now. Looks like my oldest was drawn for an "A" license. Was running him through to build preference points, then he get drawn.

Lets see - more scouting laugh.gif, getting him through gun safety by April 18th blush.gif. Weather ????

Glad I have a good blind.

Thanks for the heads up!

I was drawn again too. Also season G.

That's a lot later than I usually prefer to hunt, but hopefully there will still be a big 'ol long beard looking for some company.

Every year it's a race to post this first. I always lose smile.gif

B season this year for me. I love the crack at a fat early season gobbler. However, with this year's season start being almost one week later than last, B is C, and so on and so forth. C & D have traditionally fallen on the post-peak gobbling lulls that we all know and love. Henned up birds, and a quiet morning can be the order of the day when hunting these seasons. Cold weather into the season helps a bit. That's my hope.

Having the preference point burning a hole in my pocket, this was what I had to do. Fallback option was the OTC bow license.

Good luck Joel. Just make sure you leave one for me.

It doesn't have to be huge..... a 26 lb'er with a 12" beard would be good enough. wink.gif

Is G season still considered spring season? or fall? crazy.gif

Grey:

I know what you mean. Just be careful not to start getting ready for your season too early. You will go mad if you start in March even. Wait till April until you take out the camo and calls, lay them on the floor and roll around in them. smile.gif

    • Watch their interference disappear when you shut your marcum off 🤨
    • Rick was going to start that topic right after this one slowed down! 😅
    • Don't be fooled by stainless cables. Take proper care of them and change them every few years.Do your pivots every couple years too.
    • Might as well get augers in on this too!
    • Just counted 14 of them under and on my feeder. Cardinals, Nuthatches, Juncos, and asst sparrows came in and they chased them all away. It's like one stands guard and chase everything off. Sorry guys, time has come to start thinning the blue rats out!

    • nope..........havent graduated to posting meme's yet!!!!!!!!!
    • Have a marcum LX9 also use a couple Lowrance units. After using them side by side there are features I like on both but just comparing sonar units I'd have to say that my lowrance units squeak out a win for me over the Marcum. Both are very close to the same performance. The Marcum is much easier to just plop and fish where the lowrance units you have to dial in for each situation. I've never been a traditional flasher guy and never see the need to after using a graph.
    • Yep put mine away this past Saturday. I haven't used it since August. I wanted to park my truck inside instead and I would rather hunt then fish anyways...
    • Go to Milaca unclaimed Freight and for the pulley 8to 1 lift. Cheap and easy
