russ
We bought a new home and left behind by previous owners was a 10 speed bike. It is a CCM MISTRAL. Canadian product. I don't know much about bikes but this one looks to be of some quality. It is very lightweight, has Ambrosio rims, Weinmann brakes, Reynolds 531 frame, Simplex gear changer and Sugino chain wheel. Thats about all the equipment brand names I could find on the bike. It looks to be and older model. Is there any value to this bike or should I just give it away. It does look like it could use a visit to the tune up shop (loose spoke, bad tire, etc.) I also has an afa air pump on it.
LoneRanger
Just like anything, the bike is only worth what someone will pay for it. All bikes have come a long way in the past 5 years, so people usually want to step into the big time right away. If I were you, I would try to get 50 bucks or so on hsolist. It is a HSOforum where you can sell locally for free. Otherwise hsolist is an option. However, what would probably make you and the bike happiest is to fix it up and ride, ride, ride!Good luck!Dan
