Orange minnows??

They had these albino crappie minnows

Orange in color anybody try these?? any luck??

I believe you are talking about rosy reds or they have a handful of other names. Some guys swear by them but personally I haven't noticed a difference. I would guess like most tactics they have their time and place.

rosey reds, they are a cheap feeder fish for aquarium predators, i used to buy them for my piranhas when they were small before they where big enough for goldfish.

I have tried them both for craps and eyes with minimal success. I got a few fish with them while fishing but didn't notice a huge difference over normal minnows. I guess they may have there time and place, but I opt for useing the standard fathead or crappie minnows over the rosy reds.

I use them quite often for crappies. Like anything else, some days they are the way to go, other days, it doesn't matter rosies or "standards". Depends of the fish's mood I guess. I have had a couple days I couldn't buy a fish on a normal crappie minnow and the rosies were getting hits, and vice versa. Since then, I usually by a mixed scoop if I can just to have the variety available.

seen them rosy reds up at meleens bait shop at mill lacs didnt try any because at 6 bucks a dozen, I'll stick with good old fatheads at 3.25 a scoop.
