Rod tip replacment?????????

For Christmas I got a St. Croix Premier ice combo (ultra light) that I wanted for crappies. Well I also got some of them Rod Slicks by Clam. When I went to put the rod slick on the rod, guess what happened? The tip broke??????????

Any have an idea how to fix it. It broke right behind the tip guide. Am I outta luck and need to buy another rod?

If it broke right by the tip top, then just buy a new one and glue it on. Make sure you buy the right dia. and glue it in.

I have broke a few and its a cheap fix and will last.

Any good bait shop shop have an assortemt of tips for replacement purposes. Be sure to use some sort of hot glue so that you can replace it if the ring cracks or something.

After you glue it on (tip) then wrap the joint with a thin layer of thread to give it extra strength and then coat the thread with somemore glue.Hope this makes sense? c63
