Custom BERKLEY GULP ice jigs these are nailing fish

well i got a idea from someone on here to use 3inch berkley gulp minnows and they worked great but then i had another idea to make a jig like a shrimpo or a rasto so using a glow jig head and berkley gulp 5 inch sinking minnows i came up with this let me know what you think pics arent great but you get the point

Looks like you may be onto something. The jig sort of resembles a rat-finky, with the added option of changing the tube color. Nice work!

ya thats what i was going for but the GULP makes a huge differnce best part is there are alot cheaper to make all u need is jig heads gulps and a razor blade

What happens when the gulp dries out on you?

Looks nice, I'll have to try that. Do you tip that with a minnow or just fish it the way it is?

Rick I just take them off after Im done fishing. As you know they get like leather if you let them dry out. Another thing I have messed with is some foam or sponge like material and then put a few drops of your favorite fish scent. I use Dr. Juice products but anything will work.

all i do is cut the worm down to what i need when iam in the shack so they dont dry out and toss it when im done fishing and ya sometimes i do tip it with a minnow but most of the time i just jig it with nothin
