Well ya you could say the bird hunting is good here but this year just absolutly was horrible. Deer i would say is pretty decent if you know the area. I have seen quite a few but nothing in range. just depends on where you go. i havent got anything yet. have seen some big ones. hoping that i can bag some of these big ones.

I am originally from northen Indiana, agriculture and mild winters result in lots of deer and big bucks. When driving in agriculture areas or countryside in general I can remember seeing way more deer there as compared to MN.

My father makes the same comments when he comes to visit, where are the deer?

For fun we used to ride around with a spotlight highschoolers and more specifically non hunters) and shine across fields to see them heard up, talking 60-70 deer in some instances with many bruisers in the group, I have yet to see anything like that around here.

Probably borderline nuisance thinking back now with the numbers of them.
