Shorelunch
I was told the muskrats are building extra-large houses, which means it's going to be a long, cold and snowy winter. Really.
tightlines
Don't want to be a nay sayer, but the almanac has been sooooooo far off the last couple years that you would be better off saying the winter will be just the opposite of the almanac predictions. This was according to one of our local weatherman. LOL He is right though. Almanac has been way off in recent years. I would go more by the muskrats than the almanac. Ryan_V
another vote here for the almanac!!! too many fish houses, too little time!!!
toughguy
I believe the Farmer's Almanac to be THE most reliable forecasting tool out there........ unless they predict a warm winter Then I go with muskrat houses, el ninio or what ever points to a long cold winter.
