Ice Fishing Kid
Hello icefisherman , I was just wondering what all of you think about the techni-glo genz worms, fatboys, and genz bugs. I am getting ready for the ice season and want to make sure I have all the proper equipment before I head out onto the hard water . Please include how you jig them, what you tip them with, what species do catch on what, what color works best etc. Oh and one other thing what do you guys think of the techni-glo tails for the genz bug and how did they work for you, and what colors work best etc. THANKS!!!!! --------------------- JONATHAN SOBEK
Matt Johnson
The Fatboys and Genz Bugs are good jigs that I use every winter at one point or another. The Fatboys fish heavy yet provide a lot of finessing power. A great small-profile jig when fishing moderately deep water, as well as shallow water. The Genz Bug provides a new dimension with its angled hook. It gives off a different action and I think it adds with hooking percentage on some situations. Both jigs are great when tipped with maggots, and the Genz Bug can work very well with plastics too...
