buzzsaw
Matt Guerrier will be taking Bakers spot in the rotation against oakland and Liriano will be back with the team as well!! Now if only we could have a healthy Radke it would be perfect! It will be a great stretch run, I'm looking forward to the opportunity to catch and maybe pass Detroit... it could happen right? I mean just because they had like a 12 or 14 game lead on the twins doesn't mean it would be the biggest choke ever does it? or does it? I guess it will have to happen first and then we can have that discussion.
IFallsRon
It's nice to see that management is finally playing to win. There's no guarantee that Guerrier will get past three innings but it gives guys a clue that they better nut up.
Eric Wettschreck
I see the Twins passing Detroit and the race coming down to the last series of the season with the pale sux. How cool would that be???If that actually happens I will not fault the kitties one bit. They set the bar pretty darn high at the begining of the season and the catching up from the rest of the teams is happening fairly slowly. Plus, the Twins had to win like a billion games just to catch up.AL Central is the most exciting division in MLB this year. Now if Guerrier can take the heat, Radke gets healthy, Liriano stays healthy for a while, gosh I like the way the Twins look going into October. Double D
Just also pray that Santana stays healthy. Face facts, the Twins will live and die with that guy no matter what the rest of the rotation is.I almost felt lucky that I got to go sit in Row 5 on Sunday for the masterpiece. We were out in left field but you could still tell the man was on his top game. Best time I had at the ball park ever.DD
montanagriz
DD...I was at the game on Sunday too, and Johan was just plain filthy. The standing ovation he received after leaving the game gave me chills. Combine that with tons of offense (3 triples) and it was one of the best Twins games I've ever been to.
