UNIT
What type/style of broadheads would you suggest for elk hunting? What grain? I realize this may be personal opinion and take trial and error but I am a sponge for information in regards to this hunt so any information would be greatly appreciated. ThanksUNIT
harvey lee
I would make sure you have enough grains of weight for the complete arrow to get the penetration you will need on this bigger animal.I always use 125 grain broadheads for everything. That is with a Muzzy broadhead.I believe my total arrow weight when hunting elk is approx 450 grains.Thats the shaft, insert knock, fletchings and broadhead. walterman
I use Tight Point Shuttle T Lock broadheads in 125 grain. They seem to do the trick very well. Theyre tough and fly true.
