Sportland_Bait
What are your experiances with either of these products? Full draw is a mix and Maximum is New Zealand Brasica. I was planning on planting it along side a fall planting of oats. Is one or the other better for a fall planting? Full Draw is supposed to be ready approximately 45 days. I'm wondering about the Maximum.Jason Erlandson
Gofishleech
I have planted Maxium for 2 years now. Last year I planted about mid august and it only came up about 4 to 5 inches, it was a small plot and the deer wiped it out before hunting season. This year planted a little more then an acre in June and it is doing great, enough that there will be some left for season. My guess is that it is too late for maxium, not sure about the full draw. I just planted some chickory about a week ago and it is up and growing, the bag said it would start atracting deer in 21 days. I have another chickory plot that is about 40 days young and the deer are really likeing it.
Nova
I just bought a bag of the maximum to try on one of our plots that didn't work this year. The bag said fall planting. You need 30 days before frost. I am putting it in this weekend. I have other plots that did work and they are really hitting the brasica in those plots. rippinlips
I planted full draw about two weeks ago and it is doing great, I planted 5 acres. I talked with Todd from bio logic and full draw is what he recommended. If you go to the next page in this forum and look under the food plots post I have pictures in there of full draw a week after planting it at my food plot.
