southerntransplant
Being new to Minnesota and all I am directing this question to any anglers in mankato/saint peter area. I am looking for some good fishing lakes, ponds, gravel pits within a 45min drive of Mankato/Saint peter. If any one has any suggestions I would be very thankful. I really am trying to go out Sat 19th or Sun20th. Thanks alot!
Fishin4Life
TONS of lakes close to Kato. Couple to try... Madison Washington Clear (in waseca, used to be a great crappie lake) Elysian Jefferson Pull a map of the area you will find a bunch in the area. Oh yeah and check out the southern MN forum for a bunch of information on the area lakes, search through some previous posts and such. You will find a lot of Walleye info, but also some Bass info. Shawnny B
IF you really want to do some homework and find what kind of fish are in these lakes, or what lakes have been stocked with what kind and how many fish try going HERE and just fill in the county spot, it will pull up all the lakes in that county. Its amazing what you find there. Shawnny B
