ikeslayer
I saw this on a nother site and thought i would give it a try. Hopefully after tomorrow my new favorite is Forest Lake but for right now, lake demontroville. A buddy and i went out there this summer and we only caught one fish that wasn't 3 pounds or better. good lake. ike
Fishin4Life
Not my favorite lake, but I like White Bear. My favorite is a little lake nort of the cities, no public access. I am sure a few of your guys know about it. Deitz I would assume knows, its in his neck of the woods.

Deitz Dittrich
I personally am not sure I have a fave bass lake.. and even if I did, I am pretty darn sure I wouldnt post it on here... Expecially if it was a small lake. Your just asking for trouble then.

Ray Esboldt
I have a bunch of lakes that are my favorites. It all depends on the time of the year and weather conditions. My favorite Metro lake for purely sentimental reasons is White Bear Lake. It's where I really learned about bass fishing as a youth.

big musk411
Seriously, I like Mink lake. Not afraid to give it up as it most likely is too weedy to fish right now and is C&R anyway. My favorate SPOT, however, is not on a lake . Check out my how to/not to paddle rapids post on the canoeing forum to see it. Not going to give it away, but others on here know about it. Jig Master
Well it's probably one of the best lakes in the state and should kick out the next record soon. Every time I've been there have caught one over five and have seen at least three sevens out of it. Not to mention all the fish have small heads/eyes and big fat bodies so they still have a long time to grow to reach their max weight. I've never heard of another lake in the state that can even come close and to tell the truth I've fished all over the country and it's still the best lake I've ever been on. I won't say the name now, but you'll hear it soon enough when I crack a 9 and a half out of it and shatter the state record in the next year. ikeslayer
Well jig master i don't know if you are full of it or legit but either way best of luck breaking that record. ike
Jig Master
Last year I had a day out there in the fall where my best five added up to 28.5 pounds on the digital scale. Lakes are always in a constant state of flux and I just hope this lake doesn't have a forage base crash, but right now I'm sure it's one of the best lakes in the state as far as size and numbers. And if it stays left alone for the next few years I'm sure it'll put one out over 9. Even if it doesn't, I can't complain about pulling a few sevens out every year
BASSproJOE
Most Definetly either Turtle in shoreview or Clearwater out west... at least to catch big bass
Maximum12
I like Turtle too...for numbers. BassProJoe, I haven't put a lot of time in on the lake, but haven't caught anything over 15 inches out there. Care to drop a hint?
Jig Master
Clearwater isn't really considered a big bass lake
BASSproJOE
max, i live on the lake. my hints are during the day work the outer weed edges with jigs and texas rigged worms. dont even bother fishing the docks (unless you want to catch those small fish) also try crankbaits that dive about 10 feet around the north end of the point on the west end in 10 - 15 feet of water. make sure you are rippin through the weeds. i just got off the lake doing that and caught a five pounder. great lake. and by the way clearwater is home of this years big bass bonanza. i caught my limit of five fish for around 12 pounds. cya later
