Heres what we do and it's cheap

30 gal plastic drum filled with water from home.Set it next to your heater and run water line to the shower use a bilge pump outa any boat put a switch next to your shower.Get wet shut it off.soap up turn it on. $$30 investment. You only need about 4-6 hours to heat the water to room temp.Be enough water for about 8 showers. Not much battery power either

For the pout fest we run a rig similar to TJMs. WE heat 2 gallons of water to around the boiling point then mix it with lake water in a 5 gal bucket to get it to shower temp. Then we drop in the bilge pump / hose assembly step into the shower booth and with a little restraint on water usage you can get four pouters reasonably clean. We use one of those 5$ black plastic tubs from Menards for the catch basin and a piece of blue insulation for a foot mat.

How about using one of the electric element add ons for the rv water heater? Not sure how much they put out or how much current draw but I would assume a lot less than a normal electric water heater.
