Otter cottage help

Thinking or retiring the old fish trap pro for a new otter cottage. Could some cottage owners let me know your likes or dislikes of the cottage. Lookin for just a little more room to fish out of without more weight. Thank You!

I have an Otter Cottage and a Lodge. I have not used the Cottage on the ice yet, I have sat in the garage and mentally placed where everything will sit. I have used my Lodge many times and love it. Both houses use the same tow hitch. Otter also has great Customer Service, my stitching seperated and they sent me a new canvas no hassle.

I have a lodge and a den. The den is slightly smaller than the cottage. I really like them. They are really light and durable. Plenty of room in the den when I am by myself. You should be real happy with the cottage.

My dad has the Lodge and a buddy has the Cottage. Both are great houses, and the Cottage is definitely on top of the list for one-man fish houses. One of the big benefits that Otter houses have over Clam is the extra height. The few extra inches make a huge difference. No sore necks for us taller guys. The big concern that I used to hear about Otter is about seat comfort. But now you can buy a cushioned seat that swivels, so I don't think it's much of an issue anymore.

If you go with the Cottage, I'd suggest the Ultra-Wide; having the extra room in the sled is great.
