Keeping Ice house cool for camping?

Outside of using an airconditioner, how do people keep theirs cool? Mine will get really hot even with windows open.

consider makeing some custom hole covers for summer use that have 12v fans in them with screens 2 pointed in on one end of the house and 2 pointed out. these fans also work well if you mount two or three of them onto a piece of plywood cut to fit into the windows. northern has these fans and they work well and draw very little. i have used the latter method in mine in the summer. ... paul

these fans are made in 110 v types as well and still draw very little.
