Better lake, Lobster or Miltona?

Recommended Posts

Tough call, both lakes are solid. Differnet kind of fishing too. Miltona is clearer and deeper with alot of open water structure as well as shoreline to fish. Lobster is a bit stained not quite as deep and has a bunch of shoreline structure more then worthy of fishing. Under tough conditions I think Lobster would be my first choice, under ideal Musky conditions definelty hit Miltona.

Got back from Alex last night. Hit Lobster Lake on Saturday. I had a follow early on in the day. A beast! About 30 minutes later my friend caught a 45"/24lb. (measured, weighed and released) Muskie on an 8" Jake. Not sure if was the follow, but caught in the same area. We boated her and released her. Made our day. Other than that a few northerns and a few bass.

Far better than me! Of course, I was fishing out of an 'old school' boat, belonging to a relative...

Roar up to a fishing spot, then wonder where all the fish are...

I hope to have my boat up there in a couple of weeks, and perhaps take a slightly stealthier approach....
