croixeyes Posted September 8, 2006 Share Posted September 8, 2006 Let me pose this question.Where would you go to fish if you were on a lake that you had not been to before?You have no depth finder to search the water and you see a large point extending out in the lake with the wind blowing across it.Also there is an island with a reef running off it,but the wind is not touching that reef.Where is the first place your gonna start fishing?Ill bet I can guess Given Our choice of conditions who wouldnt choose to fish calm water.However the majority of the time active fish are in choppy waters,where they have the advantage over prey.This imo,is more important in shallow water than deeper.
