Question

how do you attach the hub on a drop down fish house? you cant have a axle run threw because the wheels lift up. What do you use?
would I use stub axles welded to the arm that moves?

You'll have the axle stub welded through the steel crank arm. Cut a hole through the steel arm the precise size of the axle stub, then weld it on both sides. Weld it fairly close to the position where the steel arm is mounted to the frame so that you'll gain more leverage when cranking it up.
