Squirrel Hunting

Is anyone still out after squirrels I know I seen alot while muzzleloading and had one last weekend seen a few but not as much action as mz.

I have been whacking tree rats with my Contender in 17 HMR. since New Years. Find a nice grove of trees on a cold sunshine filled morning and it's off to the grocery store for noodles and gravy makings.

On new years day I went out. In the same place I went bow hunting for deer. Did not see one deer this whole year and the day after the bow hunting ended. I saw 3 deer. I am got 2 grey and 1 fox tree rats. Justin
