Juice
I was looking through the Bass Pro Shops catalog. And these Stik-O's caught my eye. Do they act the same as a Senko?
Deitz Dittrich
its not exact, but its pretty darn close.. there are a lot of senko type copys that do quite a good job and much less the price....
delmuts
hey EX. have you tried using red hooks with plastics ? it seems that they are all the rage lately. i haven't converted yet( to cheap!want to use up the ones i have first) i can see where they could be an advantage on cranks, but was wondering! del
Deitz Dittrich
Yes del I have... I personally can't say that I have done better with red hooks on plastics. I have caught fish, but I can't say for sure I couldn't have caught that fish on regular hooks. I have also used red hooks on cranks, and topwater. The only one when I feel that it has helped is topwater. You might want to give that a try!
TNFL
They all pretty much work the same, I bought some on hsolist 50/7.50 they are a little tougher so they don't have as much action, but they last alot longer. If you put the bait in front of the fish they bite the same.

They are generally tougher and sink rate is usually very close though. The only concern I have on some copy baits is if the bass will hold onto the bait as long as they would a softer senko - under more negative conditions. I haven't ever noticed that to be a problem, but it seems like it could potentially be.

Dan Wood
I haven't tried the Strike King yet, maybe I'll have to give them a try this year... Seems I'm not the only one that bites into these things every once in awhile...

Deitz Dittrich
I just got the inside scoop that Mr.Twister Exude is going to join this market... The bait is going to be called the Comida(spanish for food). This lure will break down in water releasing more salt on each cast, not like many of the baits which have the salt trapped inside. Supposedly this lure was being tested by the inventor and caught the state record for LA.. 14.1oz.. cant wait to get my hands on some!
