Coyotes and Fleas

I have been reading in other forums that after you shoot a coyote you have to be real careful about the fleas. Do you use flea powder or spray or what is the scoop on this?

Spray the animal down with a good flea ad tick spray. Put hte animal in a plastic garbage bag and twist tie it closed tight so no air can enter the bag. Leave the animal in there for a little bit. If it's warm out you will have to check on the animal so it doesnt spoil. In cold weather no problem.
