in the icehouse

all this icefishing reading i have been doing tonight i had to come out and check her out. heater and lights seem to be working good. bit of a smell from being locked up all winter but no big deal. NO MICE THIS YEAR!!!! oh i cant wait now! maybe i will drop a line for a bit - maybe i can get a gopher or something.

I too was in the house, working on some improvements. I got really excited when I bumped one of the rattle reals and heard the bell, but no fish, just a snaged sweatshirt.

i've set up the portable a few times myself already. had the rod in had jiggin away but no bites

I make excuses to go into the icehouse to just check things out.

I lost count of how many times I've cleaned and straightened out things, just as an excuse to be in the house.
