RIP Nick McGlashan

Anyone who still watches Deadliest Catch knows his name well.  Deck Boss on Wild Bill’s boat Summer Bay passed away in Nashville.  Cause is not confirmed yet.  33 years old.

We’ve watched him go through his ups and downs with dependency issues and Bill sticking by him closer than his own son to keep him steady.  Awesome Deck Boss and likable guy.  Last season he seemed rock steady.  It’ll be interesting to hear what happened and how they’ll address it on the show.  This is the break between king and opie season.  Big blow to Bill if Nick was working with him again this year.

Watched the show for years. Most of these guys seem to be living on the edge.

Yeah they haven’t released the COD yet but it’s sounding like a relapse.  Very sad.  He’s helped others kick the addiction.  Sometimes it’s harder to help yourself. ?
