Reel Inn
Gfp recomends no vehicle traffic on Waubay, Atv traffic only, ice has deteriated some. GFP from Webster said this. I heard it on KWAT Radio today.

Guest
I have to agree with fish fondler, MN DNR has been doing a great job on the lakes. When a lake or river needs attention, they don't let it get out of hand anymore. The Red Lake Walleye project between the MN DNR and the Red Lake Band of Chippewa just to name a few is one of the best fish management projects currently in the nation. The St. Louis River walleye project in Duluth is doing real well, with very strict slot sizes and limits so is Mille Lacs. Maybe they need to close Waubay for for perch for a couple years and restock it?It seemed to work for Red's eyes I think they need to do something about the crappie's even though they lowered the limit it still needs help.------------------en kala(I fish)
Corey Bechtold
Can I take a train from Minneapolis up to Waubay to get my limit of Perch, Walleye, Northern and Crappie? Just looking for a laugh. I love watching Saturday morning fishing shows and seeing the Devils lake Commercials with fat businessmen getting off the train, taking a guide out to the slaughter, and then dining at the all you can eat buffet at the casino, then going back home. I'm sure they tell their buddies how good of fishermen they are. Don't take me too seriously.
