Securing Catch Covers

Recommended Posts

I have an aluminum skid fish house and when pulling to new locations the Catch Covers can snap out of place and then we get some snow in the house.

Looking for ideas (other that running a couple screws into the cover) to keep them in place when transporting

Thanks

I’ve never had a problem like that. Are they real Catch Cover or the knockoff ones? You must have a lot of flex in your floor. Lots of easy fixes, screws-small 1x2 that swivels, I’m sure you’ll figure out. My CC are very tight.

No knock offs, I am using Catch Covers and they are tight.

My house is basically a toboggan and slides on top of the snow.

The Catch Covers are in a spear hole and when pulled snow builds up and will push the cover out of place.

That's my thought to screw a lath over the top of the cover, but hope to think of something better
