6-4 on their toughest road trip of the season so far, not too bad👍  Glad to see Garver & Cruz back as well.

It's been a bit of a struggle for about the last week, bats have went quiet, pitching has slipped, & the "D" has suffered too. Didn't expect them to keep playing .700 ball all season but hope they bust out of it soon.

I say give Sano this series against KC and their AAA pitching, if he cant get it together at the plate send him down. This team is too deep on hitters to keep him in the games.  Kepler was able to get out of his slump recently hopefully the bats start picking back up for everyone. I think when they are scoring runs it takes a lot of pressure off the pitchers.

I dont want them to panic or start playing not to lose but would be great to see them make some trades to strengthen up the bullpen.

I agree about Sano, looks like he is slipping back to his old habits after looking decent when he first came back.

They have been suffering from lack of timely hits, something that was going so well for so long.

Still entertaining to watch, and with the long ball always in play, you just never know when they are truly out of a game.

The All Star break might be something they need right now to get back into the groove.

Usually a series against the royals is what a team needs to get back into a groove. Indians are playing better lately. I sure hope this isn’t 2001 all over again.

I heard they were interested in Bumgarner. I hope we pass on that, as I just don’t think he has his stuff anymore. I think a solid closer would be more important than a starter.

Was thinking the same on Sano, he's been looking awful. Then he homers to start the 8th inning rally last night, go figure. Like Morris has been saying on the telecasts, it looks like he's not picking up the spin on the curves, kind of normal for him, but he hasn't been able to catch up to the fastballs either, which he normally crushes. Maybe it only takes 1 dinger for him to come out of it. Hope so!

What do you know 2 games in a row for Sano. Cron too, he's been the steadiest with the bat lately IMO. Thought I seen something about them getting a pitcher that the Angels let go. I'd love to see them pick up another lefty for the bullpen as well.

I'd like to see them get Eddie back as the schedule gets tougher. Oakland, Texas, & then Cleveland, we should know by then.

I see they got Eddie & Cron back last night but now Buxton's out again. It didn't help though as they played a sloppy game & beat themselves.

And after Oakland its the Yankees! After this Mets series they must have a thing for being intimidated by NY logos on hats.

Wish we could get Buxton back but looks like he will be out for a bit now. I think he brings a lot of energy in the field and on the basepaths. Would like to see him pick it up at the plate more but he certainly brings an edge to the team that I think the other players feed off of.

Early on the team was deep and with a big division lead you could afford to shuffle out players and let the starters rest and heal. And those players were all stepping up. Now the lead is almost gone and injuries are piling up.

Lots of errors and un-earned runs have been ugly lately. We have seen Baldelli stay pretty composed so far this year. I will be curious to see what will cause him to snap or how he will handle all of this from a managing aspect.

Still a lot of games left which I am not sure if that is good or bad lol. I hope they make some moves but also dont want them to give anything up.

I see Eddie made up for his dropped fly ball the night before, his HR last night really picked 'em up. Best effort of the season from Gibson IMO.  Garver, Cron, & Rogers all had good games too. Still 2 early errors & that's starting to bug me, need to get that out of their system.

A much needed win, if they can hold their own for the next 6 games, I think they will be okay.

Especially if they get healthy soon.

Minus the 3 game losing streak, they haven’t even been doing that bad! The Indians have just been absolutely lights out the last several weeks! Is it just me, or does it seem like they’ve played Detroit like 12 games in a row?

Nice win last night! That triple play really picked them up. Thought Rogers was going to let another 1 slip away & then he found his curve. Hope they can keep knocking them out of the park.

So close to being a 5-2 homestand vs the actual 3-4 record.

Oh well, that's baseball for ya.

I think they have finally realized that they can hold their own against the Yanks......I hope so at least.

Cleveland will hopefully come back down to earth once they start playing some better teams.

It's been entertaining, that's for sure.

I still think we will be playing in October at this point.

    • I did ask about dish soap and he said because there are  no toxicity studies that have been done with soap mixed with their product he can't legally comment on it. He did make it clear in his own way it wasn't needed. Haven't talked to the Crossbow people yet.
    • Interesting.  I was searching for instructions and got conflicting advice.   The no oil thing is good to know...I've got this creeping charlie issue in my lawn.   2,4-D and triminic doesn't seem to do much.    Gonna give this stuff a try.  What did they say about a little soap in the tank?
    • If it is garter snakes, pick them up with your hand and put in a bag.   Release them a mile or so away.
    • One of my absolute fears, I'd sell the house!
    • Ask and ye shall receive. Now I have so many orioles, lots of young ones, I'm going thru almost a jar of jelly every 2 days! I wouldn't think they would be migrating thru going south yet would they? The catbirds like it too and I have about 1/2 dozen of those. They are pretty neat birds. I also have about a dozen of some kind of sparrow hang around that I can't identify. I can't take good enough pictures to post or I would. They are big birds and the closest I can come is a white crowned but they are not white on top of their heads, that's brown but have black and white stripes over the eyes like white crowned. Also their chests are mottled yellowish brown and darker brown. No yellow patch or white throat like a white throated. Broken white stripes on the wings and lower back. Bill is dark gray on top and light translucent whitish (not really pink?) and they actually look a lot like a female Grossbeak but I know they aren't. Seems one of the sexes are a little browner than white on the head stripes.   They are brown around the eyes but do have a thin white area below that to neck but the white does not go under the bill/throat. I'm searching websites but still can't find them.
    • Delcecchi, Just got off the phone with Brushtox customer service. For tank/spot treating lawn use 3/4 oz per gallon. No surfactants (Diesel will kill all grasses). Should not harm northern grass if directions are followed. Be sure of zero rain for 24 hours. (The mix for brush killing is 4-6 oz/gal and does require surfactant.) Weed will probably take a week to show results. BE Sure to wear long sleeves, long pants, rubber/latex gloves, shoes and socks, and eye protection, it's very irritating to eyes. Apply with coarse spray.  The guy had never heard of this Celandine Majus (Sp)?  Phone number is 800 264 5281 if needed and they are very helpful.  I haven't talked to the Crossbow people yet but plan to later today.  Southern Ag.(crossbow) phone is 941 722 3285
    • Our annual ice fishing kickoff event is a little over a month away!  We just want to make sure everyone gets it on their calendars!   This year's date is Saturday, September 28.  Held at our building in Blaine, MN.   We'll have seminars from Ice Team and Ice Force Pros, along with vendors showcasing all of the new products for the upcoming ice fishing season!   Oh, and AWESOME deals on everything you need to have a successful season!   We'll post more details as we get closer, but for now please mark your calendars for Saturday, September 28 and we'll see you there!!   Thanks for all of the support!!
    • https://raganandmassey.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/Brushtox_1gal.pdf   Looks like a couple quarts per 100 gallons, with some diesel mixed in.   That would be like maybe an ounce or a little less per gallon.   Sounds like heavy duty stuff.
    • Warning about 80 is just for the day you spray right? It is getting cooler now so I should be ok. Del, I wonder if that Brushtox has mixing instructions for brush killing. That would be pretty strong and I have been warned about following the instructions exactly. Thank you. I will check into it today.
