Simple Tip To Catch More Big Bass On Spinnerbaits

Recommended Posts

I've caught a lot of big bass on spinnerbaits over the years and I wanted to share one simple tip that is often overlooked when fishing spinnerbaits or really any bait in general when targeting big bass.

I've been havin a good time with some frogs my cat caught.  If it would just stop raining I'd have even more fun.

Nothing like catchin those bass on a frog doing there own thing. 🤗

I figure in another 2-3 weeks the Walleyes are going to like them even more..OK I use live bait, but I eat good, and I don't post any pictures to brag about anything.

Fish with what you want,  I'll fish when and where with what I want.

Those isolated spots work great!  😊

    • This guy was a couple hundred yards behind my cabin yesterday.
    • right now its about a 50/50 if i go or not. but yea i'd like to say i went at least once. thinking maybe the first friday of t he event......less people. then i could stop at the union hall and see the girls again!!!!!!! i do kinda miss working with them
    • That’s a pretty good question actually.  The website says they’ll post admission prices closer to the event.  Well, it’s pretty close!  Probably around $12 though.   smurfy, if you’ve never gone, you should go.  There is SO MUCH to see there.  It’s been a few years since I’ve been there but that’s more of a timing thing on my side.  It’s  a great way to spend a day or even two.
    • Didn’t seem too bad today!   Crappy pic but this gill covered the full width of my MX7 which is 10 inches wide.
    • reading the outdoor news i see they are advertising the game fair coming up in August. i've never been to one but am thinking of checking it out once. anyone got any opinions on attending????   i googled it but it doesnt tell you what the admissions fee is????🤔 how can they not know that already????????/
    • Oh great, so you brought the smoke back with you. Thanks a lot Wanderer! 😀
    • Coming into Ely tonight on 169 - where the new part is highest above the old part - I was pretty sure I was seeing a smoke filled valley.  And as we’re getting settled in around 11 we were seeing it in our lights.   Maybe just depends on certain conditions? We’ll see what tomorrow brings.   Anoka was bad and smelled like smoke Thursday afternoon.   Oops, almost forgot to throw a pic in.  We had our own private air show today at home.  The jets made 3 loops before bugging out.
    • Frog faceoff judged by Grass Hopper. Kind of reminds me of Silly Town on here. 😀
