Sweet corn

Recommended Posts

After a late planting and way to much rain my sweet corn patch finally started looking good. Its around knee high or a bit taller.  Apparently mother nature threw another curve ball at it and blew it over. Its not flat but at about a 45 degree angle. What are the odds it stands back up or am I just SOL.

Im gonna guess after our chance of spotty showers (its been raining for 6 hrs straight, looks like worst yet to come) its gonna be laying all the way flat. Every year around this time I dam cause I have to try to pump water from creek to try and water it cause its to dry. Wish I was having that problem. Man mother nature sucks this year.

My corn was hit hard.  It was 80% flat.  It had real good recovery as its 95% standing at this point.

I've had it flat as a pancake and it recovers. It well be goosenecked at the bottom.
