How deep were the trout running?  We heard ultra deep on Crow to 30 ft.  The 30 ft number came from people actually catching them.

Fishing a mid lake Hump that came up to 45ft. Caught most of the fish between 50-61. We did catch some on the top of the hump in the evening.

smallies biting for you guys pretty good? we were up there a couple of weeks ago and the fishing was pretty slow, except for the 10-12" walleyes; we were on little turtle lake in Mine centre, needless to say,  we are not going back there

Yes, I would say the smallie action was good. A couple days we had to work for them. I was using my fly rod with a murdich minnow and was out catching the spinning guys.
