Getanet
So are you going to "save a doe and let the herd grow" "let it grow, shoot a doe" or "if it's brown it's down"? So many slogans to choose from it's hard to know what you're supposed to do! The area I hunt was hunters choice for decades. The last two or three years it went to lottery, and this year is back to hunters choice. Haven't shot a deer in a few years, but we still aren't seeing great numbers so I'll probably let the does walk one more year. At least that's what I say sitting at my desk and not in my stand. PurpleFloyd
I eat sausage not antlers and there are no deer population problems here so I am going to harvest whatever the good Lord sends my way. Moon Lake Refuge
leech~~
Our area went to Hunters choice this year so like PF said I like eating meat and have enough stuff hanging on the wall. If it's Brown it's Down!! Moon Lake Refuge
Moon Lake Refuge
Brown and down... Used to be white and down a couple years ago... Dogs jumped out of someones truck at the gas station and went wild. They were taking down deer and other peoples dogs... Think a hunter finally took one during deer season and the other one didn't last on its own.
monstermoose78
If I go rifle hunting it will have a rack, but seeing I am using my crossbow in a two deer zone game on a poor fawn is toast.
