I didn't say you edited anything, I just though it was an convenient cutoff for you given that 3 of our better players just turned 25. Listen you are the one calling for Leopold to blow up the team an

Not sure what to make of this team lately, they have been all over the place winning, losing, score, getting blow out, you name it. Need to get on some kind of winning streak here to make up some grou

Well nothing wrong with 3 of 4 points against the Preds and Bruins, still the Preds are in a mini slump and Bruins missing 5 starters. Just keep getting points any way possible.

Forgot this was a day game, missed it but happy we got the two points. We have been holding our spots and even have some games in hand on some other teams. If we can just keep this pace up we are in, but here is hoping we get hot towards the end of the year. Would be nice for a change.

Hey 3rd in the central and winning games on the road, we are certainly trending in the right direction at the right time of year. After some rocky starts to their careers Zucker and Granlund have really turned into some amazing players, like anyone they go hot and cold but I can't really say enough good things about them. Along with Staal they have really carried our offence this year. Hopefully in the next 20 games we can get some other guys going. Coyle can give us more, Nino looks a little off but it sounds like he is still fighting that ankle injury. Parise looks like his old self more and more but just not converting like he use to, hopefully that changes. I was against making a deadline move earlier in the year but if we keep this pace up we really could use another top9 winger, Ennis just isn't cutting it. Absolutely do not want to spend a 1st rounder on anyone at this point but if they can pick up someone decent on the cheap it might be worth it. We still have the majority of the team that was 2nd in the west last year and if they can play up a little closer to their potential there is not reason we can't make some noise in the playoffs in some kind of underdog fashion.

Ok, I must admit that I thought we should have stuck with Yeo before they fired him, but it looks like he still has not learned how to coach a team out of a slump.  St. Louis has lost 6 in a row, fallen out of a playoff spot, and come to town tomorrow.

All the teams in the race made good moves and got stronger....going to be fun to see how it all unfolds...tought to bet against Pitt and TB. Hope the Wild can continue the hot streak and that nobody else gets a long term injury...peaking too ealry or just the right time?

Also, that  give and go between Spurg and Zucker was one of the better plays the Wild have had in a long time IMO...Zucker's maturity this year has been incredible....sure wish Fletch had not spent that foolish money on Koivu and locked up Zucker for at least 5 more yrs.

I just hope we have not become a one trick pony and we can get other lines going before playoff time or it will be difficult to compete. at a higher level.  Where are Nino and Coyle and Ennis and Cullen, and Winnick, and Foligno, etc?

Yep, need more from several other guys. Hopefully they are saving their best for the. I also saw we lead the league in point by defensemen so they are clearly carrying the rest of the load while our other forwards figure it out.

Can someone tell me why we are paying Ennis 1.1mil more than Staal?  I sure hope they buy the last year of Ennis' contract out, it is also a good thing that Staal is signed through next year.  I would wager if he would hit free agency this summer he would get a pretty hefty raise, maybe we can switch his and Ennis' contract.  Staal is worth every penny of the 3.5mil he is getting.

I think we are saving a million on the pommer contract by paying ennis that much. Looking at their production it is money well saved. Pommers started red hot too and then has kind of vanished.

After we dropped those games to Arizona and the Avs again it looks like we shouldn't have to worry about getting too hot too soon. Still its nice to see Stall, Granny & Zucker do their thing. Defense putting up some really nice numbers as well, a little life out of Koivu and Parise lately. Will need everyone firing on full blast by the end of the year so hopefully Coyle and Nino can start to contribute a little more by then. Pretty brutal schedule to end the year so we will know a lot more about this team soon enough, that stretch should tell us if we are legit or just another speed bumb for a better team.

Yep, this stretch is going to be the kicker. They haven't faired well against the Western Conference teams, especially Pacific Division and here we are, loaded with games against the Pacific, multiple (4 or 5) back to backs coming up too. The schedule isn't easy, this will test their mettle. Aside from their last 2 terrible road games, they actually strung together 4 good ones so hopefully its more that game of 4 trend than the last 2.

if we can get 3 points out of this weekends games, the wild will be in a great position. the tougher games coming up doesn't bother me, as we seem to play our better hockey against the better teams.

Yep not worried either, even going just under .500 puts us at 97 points and that is almost always a lock to make the playoffs. Obviously we don't want to limp into the post season like that but like we saw last year, once you are in nothing else matters. Still a good test to end the season, 3 back to back and the Avs and Yotes have owned us recently. Still I see signs of us heating up at the right time of year, Parise and Koivu have been producing, Nino has looked better the last couple of games and Coyle is starting to put up points here and there. To have any chance to make a run we need everyone to contribute, no passengers.

Agree with this, we have always seemed to up our games a bit so that is good news. Less fun to look good against some of the lesser teams and find a way to lose.

    • On C/list now post 2hrs ago.  That will plow some food plots for yeah. Talk um down a bit. 😉   Polaris Sportsman 6x6- ONLY 500 miles - $4,500 Registration card in hand and ready to go . 2005 Polaris sportsman 6x6. 500 cc. Runs great , carb just gone through , spark plug replaced. Brand new battery. ONLY 500 original miles . Comes with plow and winch .
    • C/List is dying with not that many wheelers or sleds posted as there use to be. I know some folks don't want to get on Facebook, but Facebook Market place is the site to look on now. Tons of them listed. You could join, look for what you want, then get off before the relatives find out!  Lol   I picked up a 2009 Polaris Sportsman 500HO almost spotless with only about 450 miles on it last fall for $3500. It does take some digging and price wrangling, I looked at a few before I found this one. He wanted $3,800 for it. Good Luck.
    • If nonresident, the first 2 seasons can be tough to draw. The closest I have drawn was the C season.
    • Mileage can be relative.....my last wheeler had 10,000+ miles on it and I sold it to a friend. He is still riding it with over 13,000. Since that time I have put over 6000 on my current one. I was going to update this year but decided against it since they are so hard to come by right now. (and I still love this one)  I am admittedly a diehard Honda owner and have never and likely wouldn’t shop for anything else. I’ve had 13 different ATVs in the 44 years I’ve owned them and to this day not one has ever had a warranty visit. I think that speaks volumes.  I don’t baby my machine, it’s seen it’s share of mud 😉 but I maintain it well. I’d have no hesitation to take it anywhere, or sell it to a friend. Rundrave gave you some good sound advice for shopping, but don’t let mileage be your main determining factor. Well-maintained is better than low miles in many cases.  I do repairs on ATVs for friends, relatives etc, and aside from general appearance , the main things that I’d watch for on older machines is loose or noisy wheel bearings, brakes that don’t work well or drag, cv axles and boots and seals. Look at fluids, especially front and rear differentials, engine oil and antifreeze if it’s a liquid cooled machine. As far as tires, meh, I personally pulled off my new stock ones and replaced them before it had even been out of the garage, so the stock ones are like brand new. People replace them for all sorts of reasons including where they ride and what they use it for.
    • Its hard to say, 1k miles in mud and beaten on could be worse than a well maintained machine with 5k that saw easy use.   I always look at the seat,  the exhaust pipe and tires. If the seat is worn, has holes etc it been ridden hard. If you can still read the logo and it doesn't have any rips or tears that says a lot.  If the exhaust header pipe and muffler is rusty its seen a lot of mud and water. If the tires are not OEM it had the original tires worn off. What did they replace them with and why? If they replaced it with big mud tires they rode in mud etc. Talk to the owner, make sure they kept up on maintenance. You will get a good feel for how it was used. Old man that just checked fields and livestock but high miles or young guy that mud rode with his buddies etc.   For under $5k I would just suggest looking for a machine  with EFI thats shaft drive . Carbs are great and most have pull start as a back up but I would have a hard time trusting an old carb unless your not afraid to dive into one yourself. Stay away from anything with chains and sprockets. They were unreliable and I wouldn't buy a one new off the showroom floor.
    • Under 5K. Looking at the list of Craig, that puts me in late 90's early 2000's machine for the most part with a few newer in that range.    What is considered high miles for an ATV? Most I see are in the 2000 range.
    • what's your budget?   any of the newer machines in the last 10yrs will be reliable regardless of brand. get power steering if you can swing it    I am actually shopping hard right now myself. Looking to spend $5k to $7500 but prices are crazy right now. If I go any higher I might as well get a SxS. New prices are ridiculous for both.    I am just looking for that low mileage machine that someone never used and wants to get rid of. They are out there someone just keeps gets to them before I do.
    • I've never owned an ATV and ridden very few. I am looking to get a used machine for my hunting property. It will be mainly used for food plot creation and maintenance as well as some snow plowing. Any recommendations or things to look for?
    • shut down facebook      I miss the glory days on here and seeing these builds
    • I did exactly the same thing, those pictures are invaluable. Mine starts with the bare trailer the day I brought it home. Man, that was a lot of work hours ago.  What needs to be done to get people back on HSO?
