knoppers
back on the road again, nice! if only we could play .500 at home, we would be doing awsom. gunner55
JBMasterAngler
Of course Albert Pujols would hit his 600th homerun against the twins. And of course it would be a grand slam! gunner55 and monstermoose78
JBMasterAngler
Rough game last night, but 3 out of 4 in Anaheim works for me! gunner55 and ANYFISH2

Duffman
The Vikes also have a knack for that.
JBMasterAngler
Twins pulled a surprise by going with a shortstop with the #1 pick. I thought for sure they would've went with the pitcher from Vanderbilt, as he could've been pitching for the team as early as next season. JBMasterAngler
Twins sign 44 year old Bartolo Colon to minor league deal. I was wondering if the twins would be making any moves, as I do believe they need another quality starter. This wasn't the move I had in mind. I think it's a safe risk though. Will be interesting to see how it works out.
JBMasterAngler
Of course the only run the NL scores is allowed by Santana The homerun derby was the most exciting one I've seen in years (and not just because Chris Berman is gone). Hopefully that was the first of many more battles between Sano and Aaron Judge.
JBMasterAngler
Well, twins picked the worst time to go on a losing streak. Indians on a 7 game winning streak. Royals on an 8 game winning streak. I like this Zach Granite kid, but oh my goodness did he make me really miss Buxton the other night. JBMasterAngler
Sounds like there's a good chance Santana is going to be traded also.

fishersofmen
Well I should be able to get some really cheap tickets from here on out....
JBMasterAngler
Twins are stock piling pitching prospects. Couple of them might be big league ready next season. I really hope they're not counting on Perkins to come back and be our closer next year At what point does Molitor's seat start to warm up? JBMasterAngler
The twins are bi polar! They go from he lowest of lows to highest of highs! I hope this offensive onslaught keeps on going! As of right now, we're in the 2nd wild card spot.
Duffman
It's almost September, and the Twins are still in it. Kinda unreal.
JBMasterAngler
Does Paul Molitor dislike Ervin Santana or something? My goodness! This was at least the 3rd time he took him out too early, to cost him, and the team a win!
ANYFISH2
i dont know? He had thrown like 109 pitches. I would have like to see him het the last out too, but in this instence i get it. This bullpen scares the the bejesus out of me. gunner55
Duffman
"The Twins, whose seven homers set a Target Field record, became the first team in Major League history to hit a homer in each of the first seven innings." It's been nice to see this year that a team known for manufacturing runs can also rely more on the long ball. If they can improve the pitching, the future looks pretty good for this club. Duffman
Twins are in the playoffs! I hope this club surprises the shiat out of everybody including myself on Tuesday.
rundrave
I like the Twins chances in a 1 game playoff with Santana pitching. As far as I am concerned after last year what happens from here on out is icing on the cake. Even if they lose the 1 game wild card game, their season will have lasted only 2 days more than the worst team in baseball. But this is still a big deal and I like where this team is headed. I am just surprised they contended for a wild card spot with this pitching staff.
JBMasterAngler
I sure hope their planning on keeping Santana out there for 9 innings! Bullpen has been cringe worthy.
Duffman
Bring in Berrios out of the pen to relieve Santana. Worry about future games AFTER we beat the Yank's.
rundrave
Twins finished 85-77. That was their record in 1987 also.....and we know how that ended.
rundrave
Man what a disappointment after getting out to such a great start and getting some runs on the board early. Terrible performance by Santana. I know they are building toward a better future but frustrated to see him throw away an early lead immediately.
