I heard mixed reports from Waubay and Bitter lake. Alot of people are fishing Bitter lake because a near state record perch was caught. As for ice condition, I would say foot traffic only. Give the Sport-Mart bait shop in Grenville a call 1-605-486-4641. They will tell you the ice conditions. Also check out this web site. They updated on 2-11-02. http://glpta.org/fishreport.htm

Ifishsd, I check out that link you posted a couple times a week and have been since they changed the site address. That info doesn't seem to change very often. Some of those reports have been the same since January I think. I still check all the time because I like to hear about the great fishing I am missing. It has kind of been an off year for SD, don't you think? Or maybe it is just me. I am looking forward to late ice and spring fishing!!ScottS

I realize they don't update the site very often. At least it is something to go by. They are usually fairly acurate reports I have found. In the summer they updated about once a week, but the winter the slack off a little.

It has a been an off year. No big hot spots like the past years. There was a couple of lakes that were hot for a week or so. The only consist report for perch has been Waubay. For walleyes Bitter lake has been ok.
