Forbath for mvp

Holy dump what a roller coaster, these guys are so inconsistent it's scary. It's great to see them drive the ball down so well though, yeah it's the Jags but they've got a solid Passing D the last half of the season (#1 ranked during that time period)  What an ugly game though, but entertaining.

Forbath hasnt missed any FG's since he joined the Vikes I believe he is 10 for 10

My mistake, it was an extra point that he missed on Sunday.

You just worry about the Packers and the Tide... lol

I'm not really a Packer's fan but unlike jaded Vikings fans I can see that the Packers are a quality organization.

You must not pay much attention to professional football. Unless your name is Justin Tucker, field goals and extra points have been a huge issue.

Then what was the point in getting rid of the last guy that missed field goals and extra points?

Seattle Seahawks sign ex-Vikings kicker Blair Walsh

Blair Walsh could once again have the opportunity to win games for Seattle.

The Seahawks announced Thursday they signed the ex-Minnesota Vikings kicker.

Walsh missed four field goals and four extra points in 2016 before being cut in mid-November. After a stellar start to his career in 2012, Walsh struggled the past two regular seasons, missing a combined nine field goal attempts and eight extra points.

The most infamous of Walsh's misses came in the 2015 postseason, when he blew a chip-shot field goal that cost the Vikings a chance to pull the playoff upset over Seattle in the wild-card round.

Now Walsh joins those Seahawks.

The signing could signal the end of Steven Hauschka's six-year run in Seattle -- the kicker is set to be a free agent. Hauschka was scattershot in 2016, missing four field goal attempts and six extra points. The 31-year-old has struggled since the NFL moved the extra point back, missing 11 total PATs the past two years (including playoffs).

That experiment is not going in Seattle's favor. At some point they need to stop signing our castoffs. Until then it's fun to watch them fail
